Endodontic Treatments / Root Canal Therapy

dental travel root canal therapy

Endodontic therapy is a restorative procedure whose purpose is to cure an infection that originates in the pulp. The treatments are intended to heal the pain and sterilize the roots.

The pulp becomes inflamed of infected due to decay, faulty crowns, or wrong endodontic treatment.

This procedure happens under anesthetic, so the patient won’t feel anything but the a little bit of pressure. The dentist will manually find the roots, remove of all debris (nerve tissue, lymph tissue, blood tissue, bacteria and infection) from the coronal pulp chamber and its associated canals, then fill with a calcium based substance that will keep the tooth healthy.

The following visit, once it is established that the roots were saved, the dentist will take an impression for the future restoration or fill the cavity with composite.
